Tlumach is in beta
Tlumach is being tested with a few translators to collect feedback and decide whether to launch it. Updates come often and may change or remove features. Keep your own copies of your files: backups are made, but there is no promise that nothing gets lost.
What Tlumach keeps
- Your name, email and password. The password is stored only as a hash.
- Your work: files, translations, comments, translation memories and glossaries.
- Invite requests: name, email, note and the IP address they came from.
- Server logs, to find errors.
What it is used for
Only to run Tlumach and to answer you. Your data is not sold, no ads are shown, you are not tracked on other sites, and your texts are not used to train AI.
Who sees it
- People in your projects see your name, your work and your comments.
- The Tlumach admin can see everything, to fix problems.
- The server is hosted by netcup in Germany. Your data stays in the EU.
- Emails go out through Lettermint, an email service in the Netherlands.
- Spelling and style checks run on the Tlumach server. Your texts do not leave it.
Cookies
Only the cookies that keep you signed in. No analytics, no ads.
How long
Your account and work are kept until you delete them. Deleted data can stay in backups for a while.
